Oceann Gittens

About

Oceann (she/her) is a doctoral candidate in the School Psychology Ph.D. program at Louisiana State University and will be completing her internship with Greeley-Evans District 6 schools. While much of her experience has been providing assessment and counseling services to students in schools, she has worked with children across many contexts! She is passionate about increasing access to school-based mental health that is strengths-based, equitable, and culturally responsive. In her free time, she loves exploring her city and spending time in nature with her husband and their lovable 3 year old retriever mix, Hudson. She also loves mindfulness activities, reading fantasy novels, and binging series on Netflix!
