It’s springtime, which means the annual adult Easter egg hunt is underway at Wiley Roots. Hundreds of eggs were hidden around the inside and outside of the brewery, with prizes ranging from free packs of beer to candy.
Wiley Roots Brewery has been part of the Greeley community since the summer of 2013. It is located off 6th Avenue and 3rd Street, tucked inside of a reclusive industrial park.
The brewery offers a variety of drinks including cocktails, seltzers and beer. Sayo Aguayo, senior shift lead, explained what sets Wiley Roots apart from other breweries around Greeley.
“What makes us unique is our different types of beer. We have something for everyone,” Aguayo said.
For the last six years, the drink spot has celebrated Easter with a fun adult twist. Wiley Roots encourages adults to travel back in time and celebrate Easter like a kid again.
“It’s our spring tradition. We hide about 500 eggs all around the patio and inside, and we let about 10 hunters hunt at a time. It’s just a really fun time,” he said.
The egg hunt took place this past Saturday, but the brewery has other big events lined up for the future. To learn more about Wiley Roots and their upcoming events, you can check out their Instagram @WileyRootsBrewing and Facebook page, Wiley Roots Brewing Company.
