A new pizza restaurant has opened in downtown Greeley. Located on 811 Eighth Street next to TightKnit Brewing Company, Fusco Pizza opened its doors this past December. This new business replaced Right Coast Pizza, which closed last June.
Fusco Pizza offers pizza by the slice as well as their signature 14-inch royal pies. Patrons can stop by for a bite to eat after grabbing a drink at 477 Distilling or after throwing axes at the Greeley Hatchet House.
Owned and operated by Jeremy and Hannah Fusco, this new pizza place is just one of many family-owned businesses in downtown Greeley. Fusco Pizza has found success so far as the newest addition to the Greeley community. The restaurant received support from the community from the moment its doors opened.
Supporting small businesses in Greeley is important not only to ensure the success of the businesses themselves, but to stimulate the local economy. By using local vendors, offering job opportunities and working with other businesses focusing on community growth, restaurants like Fusco Pizza support the growth of the local economy more than larger, competing chain restaurants.
