We raised the beam but we couldn't do it without your support! Thank you to Team UNC faculty and staff donors for representing UNC's donor community during the December 13, 2017 Campus Commons beam raising event.
President Norton welcomed faculty, staff, construction crews and Klawz for the celebratory event that precedes the next stage of building construction.
Attendees joined together to sign and wave the beam as it was lifted above the structure in preparation for final installation.
Once the final beams are installed, the crane will leave UNC's campus and project crews will begin the final year of Campus Commons construction.
Campus Commons, scheduled to open at the end of 2018, will provide state-of-the-art performance facilities, integrated student services, and campus gateway to welcome visitors to UNC. The project is funded by capital development support from the State of Colorado, bonds backed by a portion of the student capital fee, and generous support from donors like you.
