Bear Tuesday, UNC’s community-driven day of giving, is right around the corner!
In a single record-breaking day 150 donors contributed more than $18,000 to 21 different campus causes on Bear Tuesday 2017.
The Bear Pantry received the largest number of gifts from supporters on Bear Tuesday last year, and since has provided meals and other essential items for hundreds of students facing food insecurity. Thanks to Bear Tuesday donors, Performing and Visual Arts students were able to travel to Los Angeles for a Musical Theater Showcase. Generous UNC donors stepped up to contribute to these and other programs and opportunities during 2017’s Bear Tuesday campaign.
UNC means something special to each of us, and our choice to support a particular area of campus is personal, reflecting our passion and commitment to this great university. Bear Tuesday gives us the opportunity to come together on one day to champion and support our favorite part of UNC.
Join the UNC community on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in making a gift to the area of campus that you’re most passionate about. The 24-hour day of giving is an opportunity for Bears around the country to support a campus cause and show the power of the Bear network.
When we all give a little together, a lot of good can be accomplished.
