Become a Member
Through membership in the Friends of UNC Libraries, you collaborate with committed individuals whose dedication to lifelong learning for all requires the very best of resources, programming, and access envisioned by the faculty and staff of the UNC Libraries. The Friends of UNC Libraries giving page provides membership rates and payment options. Membership
- Membership is open to anyone interested in advocating for and supporting the UNC Libraries.
- Membership is renewable each year (July 1-June 30).
- Members who are Colorado residents have Community Borrower access to the UNC Libraries.
- Members are notified of special events sponsored by the UNC Libraries and/or the Friends.
Annual Rates
- Invested Friend: $250
- Contributing Friend: $100
- Community Friend: $50
- Current Student / Recent Alumni: $25
Giving Opportunities
In 2016, the Friends established an endowed fund through the UNC Foundation. The $25,000 goal for the Friends of the Libraries Endowment was achieved in 2023. Friends are encouraged to help the endowment grow and enhance the programs, collections, and facilities of UNC Libraries.
To donate to the endowed fund, visit the Libraries donation page and choose "Friends of the Library Endowment" from the Designation drop-down.
