Sexual Misconduct

Sexual misconduct (including sexual harassment and sexual assault) is not simply inappropriate behavior; it is against the law.  Students who engage in sexual misconduct against other students violate Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments, which protects against sex discrimination in the educational setting.  The University of Northern Colorado prohibits and will not tolerate sexual misconduct or discrimination that violates federal or state law, or the University's anti-discrimination policy and grievance procedure.
