Testimonials

I can say with 100% certainty that I would not be prepared for this program without McNair. When you're in it, it's easy to feel like the work is unnecessarily hard/stressful, but now that I'm here, I can say that it was exactly what I needed it to be. I can't even express how grateful I am.

“Be prepared for a lot of work. But you won't have to do it alone. Everyone in the program is there to help you. Research is a skill that requires time and patience to nurture and learn. And once you do, the world will be open to you. Put in the time, and be patient with yourself, and know that you have plenty of support.

McNair has taught me to embrace who I am and where I come from; to dig deep and persevere through the hardest of days in life. I have made life-long friendships with people who have similar backgrounds. I take pride in being a McNair scholar and will forever be grateful that someone saw that potential in me.
