Howdy! My name is Alejandro Castaneda and I am the neighborhood coordinator for the Mesa Neighborhood. I am coming to you originally from Los Angeles and have been a little bit of everywhere having lived/worked in California, Arizona, Missouri and now Colorado. I have a bachelor's in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Medicine and Forensic Science from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. I have worked in higher education since 2018 and have loved every moment of it! As a first-generation college graduate, some of the reasons why I love working with college students is walking alongside them in the highs and lows of college, seeing their successes and providing support. I am looking forward to walking alongside you all at UNC and serving our community in any way I can! Go Bears!
