Recognized Student Organization (RSO) Renewal Day
We are not accepting new club registrations as of Spring 2024 until further notice.
Renewal Day is for current student organizations to renew their recognition requirements every academic year. Renewal Day also includes new organizations looking to register for the first time on BearConnect.
Renewal Day is happening on August 21, 2023 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the University Center Ballrooms. Students and advisors are required to attend one of the dates. Advisor Training & Student Leader Training will be held in separate ballrooms, occurring at the same time.
You may renew or register your organization on BearConnect prior to Renewal Day. You are still required to attend Renewal Day if you renew/register early.

Requirements:
Advisor Trainings
- Clery Act Training to become a Campus Security Authority (CSA)
- Title IX, Non-Discrimination, and Anti-Hazing Training, Reporting
- Formal BearConnect training
- Education on University Processes and Resources
- Financial Management
- Recognition Agreement with Student Leader(s)
- Upcoming Advisor trainings (optional)
Student Trainings
- Constitutions
- Roster reporting
- Title IX, Non-Discrimination, and Anti-Hazing Training, Reporting
- Formal BearConnect training
- Education on University Processes and Resources
- Financial Management
- Recognition Agreement with Advisor(s)
- Upcoming Student Leader trainings (optional, recommended)
