Events & Programming

The CWGE is dedicated to providing year-round educational events and programming focusing on women's and gender issues, intersectionality, and feminism. We are excited to invite you to join us as we explore, learn, and advocate together for a more equitable and inclusive society.

Women's History Month

We're thrilled to celebrate Women's History Month by amplifying diverse voices and perspectives. With boundless excitement, we're gearing up to curate a series of empowering events and initiatives that honor the contributions of women throughout history.

Project M.E. Pop Ups

Welcome to Project M.E. – where we're breaking down barriers and boosting access to menstrual products at the University of Northern Colorado! Powered by the Center for Women's and Gender Equity, we're on a mission to promote menstrual equity with a touch of flair. Say goodbye to worries and hello to free menstrual products like liners, pads, tampons, and even menstrual cups! Join us in revolutionizing the campus experience – because every period deserves a celebration!

UNITE Program - Sexism & Gender Justice

This workshop will explore key ideas and issues associated with gender, gender justice and feminism. Participants will be introduced to sexism and learn to identify when sexism is occurring, while engaging in discussion about ones own experiences associated with sexism at UNC and beyond.

Join us in this important conversation while gaining tools and resources to support addressing sexism and misogyny in our community and society as a whole.
