What is Bear Central?

Bear Central, located on the second floor of the Campus Commons, is a hassle-free zone integrating the student services of the Office of Financial Aid, Bursar’s Office and Office of the Registrar in one central location.

You’ll get an estimated wait time and a heads-up when it’s almost your turn.

You’ll lose your spot in line if you don’t arrive for your reservation. However, if you know you’re running late for your reservation reply “M” to be pushed back in line to receive additional time.

Getting Started with BearQ

Get in line for Bear Central from anywhere on campus using BearQ. Find one of the kiosks located throughout the Campus Commons or check in remotely.

BearQ is powered by QLess. Message and data rates may apply. Apple, the Apple logo, and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Apple Watch is a trademark of Apple Inc. App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google Inc. Android is a trademark of Google Inc.

Please refer to the welcome message for a list of commands to make changes. You can also reply “W” to switch your notification preferences from text messages and phone calls. Reply “N#” (replacing # with a number) to set the number of minutes before we notify you.

You’ll need to start a new reservation if you don’t arrive in time. You can also reply “M” to request additional time (maximum of two times).

During peak hours, you may be unable to request a place in line.

Please arrive by 4:30 p.m. regardless of your estimated wait time.

BearQ is only available at Bear Central in the Campus Commons.
