M.M. in Music Education

The master of music is designed for K-12 music teachers who seek to enhance their content knowledge, classroom technique and pedagogical understanding. You’ll work closely with your faculty adviser to choose courses that support your academic strengths and career goals. Music Educator's Intensive Master's Degree Program

This program is a low residency program – courses are completed online during the academic year and you’ll attend an intensive, six-week summer on campus program. You’ll learn practical techniques to improve classroom teaching skills as well as explore theoretical issues involved in music education.  The program offers the flexibility to tailor your studies to your academic interests and career goals and will also prepare you to progress to doctoral level study.
