UNC to Host Annual 9Health Fair on April 13

The University of Northern Colorado will offer free and low-cost health screenings for the public as part of Greeley's 2019 9Health Family Fair from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 13, in the University Center, 2101 10th Ave. in Greeley.

Free screenings include testing for blood pressure, bone health, breast exam, diabetes risk, oral health, nutrition, pap smear, stress management, lung function, pap smears and many others.
The following low-cost screenings will also be available:
- For $25: Blood count and vitamin B12
- For $30: Colon cancer screening kit and blood type
- For $35: Blood chemistry, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), hemoglobin A1C Diabetes and High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP)
- For $45: Testosterone (male)
- For $50: Vitamin D
Approximately 150 volunteers from UNC will be involved, according to Assistant Professor of Nursing Deborah Rojas, who is the site coordinator. These include nurse practitioner and undergraduate nursing students and faculty as well as students and faculty from the schools of Audiology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech and Language Pathology, Accounting, Marketing and many others.
This is the seventh year that UNC has hosted the fair.
